A bit about me,
Sophie Morris-Jones

A woman with red hair and large round glasses looking at the camera against a plain background.

I am a newly qualified therapist, having started my training in London at North West London Counselling & Training in 2018 and then completing it after moving up to Liverpool at Stand Tall in 2024. I also completed a two year placement at Liverpool Hope University and online with Choose Therapy.

I previously worked as an English & History tutor with young people for over ten years, and also in the arts/ charity sector for various organisations. In these roles, I was always motivated by wanting to help people discover their abilities through gaining knowledge and improving confidence.

Literature is a big source of inspiration for me and as someone who writes poetry I am particularly drawn to Poetry Therapy. I have a Masters in English Literature from Edinburgh University and did my dissertation on Modern Tragedy. This passion is underpinned by my interest in what makes people the way they are.
