Integrative psychotherapist working online and in-person
Counselling that feels human, healing, and actually helpful
Hi, I’m Sophie
I trained to become a therapist part-time over four years and have two years of experience working with clients in person and online.
I have personally experienced how therapy can help you get past emotional pain, understand yourself more deeply, and meet life with greater ease.
My approach is rooted in person-centred methods, guided by real human connection, and shaped by the belief that healing can be meaningful and feel good. It’s serious work — but it doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
— Carl Rogers
How We Can Work Together
I offer individual 60-minute sessions either online or with a ‘walk and talk’ session. The session give you a dedicated time and space to bring whatever feels too heavy, too complex, or too overlooked in everyday life. Talk therapy can ease symptoms of anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm, whether you’re using it on its own or alongside medication.
My approach is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and person-centred therapies. This means we’ll explore both present struggles and past experiences to better understand where your symptoms may be coming from — and how they’re affecting your thoughts, feelings, and relationships today. By building this kind of insight, people often find they can shift long-held patterns and begin to live with more clarity, ease, and self-trust.
There’s no set number of sessions — some people come for a short time, others stay longer — but I recommend trying at least three to see if it feels like the right fit for you.
